Is it just me or do Body Fortress whey protein shakes taste like utter shit?

Anyone know of some actually good tasting whey protein powder mixes?

Picture definitely related.

I drink them down so fast I don't notice the taste that much. Also, Body Fortress strawberry tastes really good compared to the vanilla.

Yeah, their vallila tastes horrible. Their chocolate isnt much better.

I've been taking Cytosport Complete Whey in Cocoa Bean for a while. It tastes just like chocolate milk. Dead serious. Best tasting whey i've ever had. I get mine from A1 in the big 5lb containers for like $42, and it lasts a while.

what do you expect from walmart protein?

I buy it because it's decent for the price, and the strawberry does taste good. I never had the chocolate, but I normally hate chocolate whey. The vanilla is alright for shakes.

Who cares about the fucking taste, all I want is SOME FUCKING PROTEIN!

If that's the case, get on your knees. I have something high protein for ya.

My suggestion is to stop making it into a shake. I used to put mine in fruit flavored yogurt.

That's not a bad idea. I usually just put mine a tall glass of milk and slam it right down. Or mix it with a cup of milk, cup of yogurt, cup of oats, some flax seeds, a banana, and some ice cubes. Blend it, drink it. That shit is awesome.

I've tried something else in order to save money this week.
Ingredients:
2 Eggs
Cacao
Milk
1 Banana

Here's what you do:
You crack the eggs open, but all you're going to use is the white. Pour it down into the mixer bowl or whatever.
Slice a banana (unless you have one hell of a mixer) and throw it in there.
Get milk and fill it up until it covers the bananas. Then take some more, about a centimetre or two.
After that, take about a teaspoon of cacao and get it in there.

Mix it up, and you have a wonderful, tasty protein shake!

That's pretty much the same I do, though I don't bother about separating the egg(s). Spoon of strawberry jam instead of cocoa if you want a little change. Omnomnom.

Also, use a blender instead of a mixer; or if we're talking about the same thing, get a proper one. Good ones should be able to break ice and shit and even cheap ones should fix some milk and bananas.

Yep, blenders are the way to go. I dump a cup of oats and a cup of milk in mine, and get liquid. Spend the extra few bucks and get a nice blender, it's worth it. Mine was about $75, and will liquefy practically anything.

Well, I don't eat jam and cacoa makes it taste like banana split or something like that. You should try it. :)

Mixer-blender/blender-mixer, same shit. :P

When someone says mixer, I think a mixer, that's all. The thing with the bowl and beaters, for making tasty cake.

Been taking protein sups for about a year now. Couple of things you need to keep an eye out for.
watch out for the cholesterol. some of the cheaper ones will kill you. Also you may want an Isolate protein; higher protein %, better bang for your buck. If you want weight gain on top of muscle then your talking about two different types of Powders, you'll want one that has a high level of carbs.
