How much do you emphasize weight in a relationship? Mark each one according to this preference scale:

1 - total attraction killer
2 - somewhat of a putt-off, but can be overlooked
3 - not really a problem, but would be nice to have a thinner partner
4 - doesn't bother me in the least
5 - total turn-on

1.) A guy who is not visibly overweight... until the clothes come off.

2.) A guy who is visibly overweight, but only slightly. (i.e., small gut, love-handles, etc.)

3.) A guy who is somewhat pudgy, but not really obese.

4.) A clearly obese guy.

6.) Stretch-marks and / or loose-skin on a guy who has lost a lot of weight.

Pic NOT related.

As a #4, this thread reminds me why I really need to get into shape :(
>> No. 37454
I used to be fat but I lost it when I was young so I didn't get the stretch marks.

My preferred body type is just a normal one; not too skinny, a little pudge is acceptable, bit of muscle maybe.

I don't like other body types.

>You're silly. And by silly I mean retarded.

This thread is silly, and by silly I mean retarded.

This thread needs some motivational "Fuck you and stop complaining about your issues" pictures.

>>34988
The first pic is just for you, nice and skinny, just the way you like 'em

The second one is of a man that is clinically anorexic, sorry 988, probably too fat for your tastes

The Third is of a guy just underweight, pretty sexy to most of us, but 988 probably considers him a lardass as the six pack isnt there.

the last one is the heaviest on here, and he is actually clinically overweight. I personally find him sexy as hell, but that is just me.

Kinda the same

A very little amount of fat wouldn't bother me too much, and I don't give a shit about how in shape my friends are or condemn fat people in any way, they just don't attract me. In a partner I look for skinny. I am skinny and I want skinny. It's simple.

I'm fit and lean, and I would like my partner to at least be fit. He can be built a lot bigger than me, but fat is mostly a no-go. If he's really cute and awesome, not being 100% lean is OK of course. I won't deny being superficial :/

i really like personality than looks, being a good person is more important than being thin. Also, most thin gay guys just lack a real personality. Also, most famous twink; Chris Crocker.
>> No. 38759
chris crocker is not a twink. have you seen his face? come on.
>> No. 38764
What does face have to do with labels for body types?
>> No. 38781
so many people seem to think twink just means normal weight all the way down to concentration camp status, but i dont' use it that way. i usually mean a cute, slender, young-looking guy. chris crocker is not cute -- he looks like a scary monster, or a miserable transsexual -- and he is not young-looking. a quick google search will remind you of this.

concentration camp survivors and my grandpa are thin too, but I'm not calling them twinks JUST because they have thin bodies. that heroin addict on the corner is lim but he's not a twink. Twinks are desireable and slender and fuckable; anorexic guys with bones showing around the eyes and veins popping all over the 2-inch wrists and missing teeth are not.

Chrish Crocker speaks like he has shit in his mouth. Alwaysh shaying "sh" inshtead of "s."

I think Chris Crocker is kinda hot actually, but whatever.

I do tend to like skinny or at least slim.

Fat kills it for me, but so does the whole super buff worked-out look, actually.

As far as fat people, I'm not interested in the faux-moralistic dogpiling of people over it that seems to afflict all discussion sites. People will find any absurd excuse to be self-righteously outraged on the internet, and to feel somehow superior.

But I typically just don't find it attractive, either, and I'm not about to go to bed with anyone I don't feel physically attracted to.

Ok, as a European I guess you might be interested in my opinion as well.
Being slightly overweight is completely normal, and while I do agree that a lot of the people in this thread seem to be exaggerating the numbers, it's a fact that for a lot of people, being skinny is anything but easy. For instance, my BMI is 22 and I have to work my ass off to keep it that way, where as I've got friends who'll eat at Burger King daily without wrking out who are more ripped than i could ever be.
I've also got friends who are clearly overweight even though they're vegetarians, don't watch TV, don't drink or smoke or anything. It's weird but shit happens.
>> No. 38997
>I've also got friends who are clearly overweight even though they're vegetarians, don't watch TV, don't drink or smoke or anything. It's weird but shit happens.

*sigh* This describes me. I fit all of those qualities. I'm vegetarian, never touch any kind of soda or junk-food, exercise and work-out regularly, never watch TV and am very active in my daily routine. Still overweight.

Aw, poor guy! Maybe try cutting down on dairy and carbs and increasing fresh veggies, fruits, and juice?
>> No. 39018
>Maybe try cutting down on dairy and carbs and increasing fresh veggies, fruits, and juice?

The only dairy I have is fat-free cottage cheese. (cottage-cheese salad) I substitute other dairy products with rice milk and almond milk. (I'm lactose-intolerant, but cottage-cheese doesn't bother me) I already eat a lot of veggies, and the occassional apple and banana. I don't touch any pastas or breads.

ouch... I guess you just have to continue enjoying your healthy lifestyle despite not being at exactly the weight you want. or use drugs like adderall. :(

or, wait... are you just overweight, or is your body fat percentage too high? because a lot of people, especially guys with a fair amount of dense muscle, are "overweight" if you just go by height and weight, but their body fat levels are well down below the healthy threshold, and they look and feel great and are perfectly healthy.
>> No. 39069
>or, wait... are you just overweight

I am overweight, unfortunately. Cellulite, excess skin, stretch-marks, flab, love-handles... All that. When I look in the mirror, I feel like I've done permenant damage to my body.
>> No. 39463
active in your "daily routine" will not make you lose weight

if you are MAINTAINING your weight at your "daily routine" and whatever level of exercise you're doing --- GUESS what you need to do.

Do you SWEAT with a rapid heartbeat when you exercising? Walking an hour will burn the equivalent calories of a goddamn COOKIE. I'm sick of hearing people say how they exercise enough -- no, they dont burn enough calories when they do aerobics.

Youre a vegetarian but you might be still tking in too many CALORIES. How could you "not touch" breads? Something is seriously wrong with your diet if you're not getting your food groups. a hormone issue is unlikely and the fact that you don't eat bread shows you dont know how to eat properly. If youre so upset about yourself, see a fitness coach or nutritionist or doctor to determine what you can do to improve yourself but atm youre just whining.

I'm not particularly attracted to skinny twink types, either.
I'm about 5'7, and have ranged from 165 down to 120 (when my friend started calling me Kate Moss). I've become happy keeping myself about 140. A little muscle tone, and a touch of a belly, which is pretty much what I find most attractive in other guys.

>>39729

One pound of fat has about 3500 kcal (Calories) of potential energy. So, in order to lose 1lb of fat you must expend 3500 Calories more than you take in in order to lose 1 lb. (so about 7700 per kilo).
Of course that doesn't reflect the other factors that go into weight loss, such as water loss and muscle gain. Muscle is far more dense than fat, so if you base your exercise/diet routine on the scale, you can be deceived by your lack of progress, when really, you've just been adding muscle mass as the fat is burnt.

3500 kCal per lb

so how much does my body burn to maintain 98.6F? I live in the Georgia/Carolina area, so the weather is typically between 75-95 in the Summer and 35-55 in the Winter (obviously somewhere in the middle at all other times). I know that people in tropical climates require less fuel intake than people in arctic climates... but I can do my own math on this using my own weight/climate factors. What I would like to know is how many kCal of nutritional intake is used to get 1 cKal of endothermic output... I know it can't be exactly 1:1 because nothing ever has perfect efficiency, in fact most things have lousy efficiency constants.

Sorry to burst your bubble, but those of us with some Eastern European blood (Pols, Huns, etc) are generally built with bigger frames. The reason why you're smaller is, as you state, because of your heritage.

Think about it like this: desert animals don't really have too much fur, right? Generally, they don't have need of any, since it would be a hindrance. They also don't build up a layer of blubber or need that much food to survive.

On the other side of the spectrum, there's the polar bear-- hairy, has a thick layers of fat, and consumes more. Hmmmm... animals from warmer climates have greater amounts of body fat than those from warmer ones... and humans are an animal...

Also, there are vast;y different cultures between wherever you live and the rest of the world. Have you ever eaten goulash? Chicken paprika? Thanksgiving dinner? These are all meals, part of my culture, a culture that is different from yours.

Anyway, food tastes good. Stop being such sissy and eat up.

Oh and quit acting all a eugenicist up in this beezy, cuz Hitler would totally concentrate you.

You don't know what your talking about, desert animals have plenty of fur. Havalinas, Coyotes, and Rabbits are a few examples of common desert animals that have thick hair.
